Give a Jumpstart is a non-profit, non-denominational organization of women dedicated to improving the welfare of children and their families in rural Zambia. We provide women with micro-loans or grants in order to give them a jumpstart in initiating their own income-generating project.

Goals: Improve the status of women by empowering them to achieve a sustainable source of income and to become self-sufficient Enable children – especially girls, orphans and vulnerable children – to complete an education Provide adolescents – especially girls - with the life skills necessary to stay alive and healthy so they may reach adulthood and provide for their families.
